Probably just a marble. Many ISPs installing patches over the weekend I read. But, it doesn't hurt to be paranoid.

A notorious paranoid once tearfully pleaded with my office, KABC's Ombudsman, to come see that the police were watching him through a device in his bedroom ceiling. Finally, dupe that I yam, I went.

Some kids had stuck a short piece of 1/2 inch copper water pipe with a clear glass bead stuck in one end into his ceiling.

Are you sure everyone wasn't hit with the same thing? It seems unlikely, and I can't imagine what it could be, but I was having similar problems at the same time, and managed to fix them. Is there any way it could be related to the recent bonking of SI?

Are you refering to Eliot Windows problems or our mail problems.

Eliot's problems were definetly self inflicted.

Is there any way it could be related to the recent bonking of SI?

Possible Yes, likely NO, please reread my rant on viruses, worms, and attacks again. :)
