But, they're not REALLY unemployed. They're just temporarily jobless for an undetermined period!

I don't take pleasure at Americans suffering like you seem to do.

It is this way. Boeing and other large employers are running out of cash. If they aren't bailed out, something you should oppose, millions of people could be out of jobs. Millions, that is, more than the ones in hospitality or with direct customer contact that are going to be unemployed as it is. Estimates are that 5 million or more could be unemployed this month alone. Factor in that is a global phenomenon, that alone looks grime. Now, it is likely the restrictions in place will remain in place until the world has effective vaccines, well...

Many US companies are looking at cash flow problems. Which is what is facing Boeing, Mickey D's and a lot of others. Seems that the touted tax cut was primarily used for stock buybacks and bonuses for upper management. Like many people, including myself, said would happen. The problem is, many also went into debt to do those things. With the market down, and likely to go a lot lower, their ability to borrow money has been impacted.

There are some satellite photos of China showing pollution on the Internet. China is virtually shut down They are in for some serious economic pain. That will propagate through the entire world. A global depression is in the cards. Hopefully not, but it cannot be discounted. Especially if restrictions remain in place for 12 to 18 months.

So if the statistics are bad its because evil people want them to be bad? You should know better than that.
