Locogringo, I get what Trump is trying to do. He's just sticking it to the Chinese Communist Party for trying to suggest that the coronavirus was an American invention. But I really don't think it's helping, and it's just more childish shit that we're all too used to seeing from Trump. Is it racist? Meh, I think it's borderline. Other viruses have been named after the geographical region where it came from. Only reason why that isn't encouraged these days is because of racism, which unfortunately is unavoidable in these situations. Should Trump continue to troll the Chinese Communists this way? No, I think he should knock it off. There are MUCH bigger issues here. Once we've finally stabilized, THEN we can argue over where the virus came from, the origins thereof, and what China (and the rest of the world) should do going forward. But this is NOT the time.
