Joe: People get "burned" no matter what stock they buy.
Being "burned" is a term that describes the action of buying at one price and selling at another. Usually lower.
Some of these people are trying to imply that their investment strategies are the only true, and moral ones.
Those are their rules, not mine.
If it is legal, it is okay.
Approval from someone whom I have never met, do not know, do not even really know if they exist, is no consideration of mine.
I wouldn't waste your time in the justification process.
Let them participate or not participate, if it happens.
That is solely their decision, and when you have your new car, and they are taking the bus, wave to them. Smile generously.
But don't give it a second thought. al
