As far as I can determine, of all the official Western responses to the Wuhan Coronavirus, France has imposed the most draconian regime on its citizens. Anyone who travels outside the home must present a valid document, which consists of a government form printed at home and filled out by the traveler.

Thousands of hefty fines have already been levied against citizens for violations of the new decree. I can’t help but be cynical: Is this a revenue-generating enterprise on the part of the French government, designed to help offset the massive costs of the coronavirus?

Nope. He never called the virus a hoax. He called the Democrats reaction to it a hoax. First the Russia Hoax, then the Ukraine Hoax, and now the Democrat Hoax of trying to make Trump look bad on his handling of the virus. We all know that Trump ordered the travel ban on China in late January and the Democrats called him racist for doing that. This despite the now historical fact that Trump made a bold and early call to save American lives, despite the left's political correctness. The fact is that had it been Obama, Biden, or Bernie, they would have let our borders open and let flights from all countries continue, until tens of thousands of Americans were dead, because the left loves Open Borders and can't stand making any decisions that would appear to be politically incorrect, even if they are obviously common sense moves to protect American lives. Look at Merkel in Germany. Her Open Borders policies have now effectively killed the German economy and now it is costing German lives and immigrants continue to roam the streets spreading the virus, despite pleas from the government to engage in social distancing.
