Fred,

First, you'll have to rereckon your perspective as to what constitutes a longer term chart. I always go back to 11/16/88 when I run a TA on APCO. The longest daily that link allows is one year. If you look at the moneyflow going back a year you will see that the recent bottom put in on that indicator is right on the yearlong uptrend in the moneyflow so I see no problem there especially when the move up off that low is recognized. The last week has shown a solid upswing in the moneyflow with plenty of room to the upside. I always look at the moneyflow in conjunction with the OBV as well.

Stochastics at high levels do indicate APCO is approaching a mildly overbought condition but that is a relative concept as I indicate with the use of the word "mildly" here. First you must realize that a stock will not make strong advances unless there is a degree of overbought to it. Overbought in that sense is taken to signify that supply is low and demand is high. If you mark the places on the stochastics chart where the indicator crossed the value of 80, you will see that a significant move up in the stock was concurrent each time.

I hope this clears things up for you some,
Doug R
