Alaska has been burning up its savings since the price of oil collapsed 5 years ago, and fishing has suffered from climate change. Tourism was the major bright spot, but now it too will be cast on the funeral pyre.

But we still have one thing to fall back on: shovel-ready projects. Bring on those federal stimulus dollars! :-)
