That is a perfect example of why learning languages leads to better understanding..

In Canada political debates are typically offered in English and French especially federally and in some provinces.. The difference in what is said and what the translator reports is at times astounding (My french is good)

also have some Cantonese and Mandarin :)

The context that Chinese leaders (Iranians are like that too) stick to a past that never was as a tool to work the masses out.

The masses love the old glories that history teach them. The masses cannot go back to place and time and check the facts but IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD IN THE BOOKS
