Modeling predicts

Well let's hope that their model is wrong ..

=====

23% of the US Population is ordered to "stay at home" after governors in California
(40 million residents), New York State (20 million), Illinois (13 million), and Connecticut
(3.5 million) ordered nonessential workers to remain at home to slow the spread of coronavirus.

=====

Triff ..

Modeling predicts that 56% of the state’s population will be infected

Based on the information we have, this is silly. Diamond Princess says 17% is about right, so 56% is conservative as hell.. Less than 20% will likely even know they have (or already had) it. Except now, its foremost on everyone's mind so a sniffle will be the virus (and some sniffles may be it!). Almost everyone is thinking back to the bug they had in Jan/Feb, wondering if that was it. I suspect it was.

I cannot get over how illogical this is. We have never been subjected to this kind of mass mania in my life-time (or my parents from what they say). What is the game... what is the goal? Something isn't right here....either theres more to it than we are being told or it's a total farce....we should know in a couple weeks (I hope).
