Not really much of a leap, then, to say that at least some degree of "social isolation" is inherent in the behaviors of many rural and near-rural (myself included) lifestyles. I suppose it might then be considered rational that I, and many other rural people, have no intention of changing our lifestyles that already represent a low risk level.




Hong Kong and Singapore are among the most densely populated places in the world and have dealt with this as well as humanly possible.

Rural America does have more social distancing but not zero. Continue with life as normal and it will spread far and wide there as well. Only the population in rural America is older and there are less hospital beds per capita so the outcomes will be worse.
