One local grocery store here is about 1/2 empty shelf-space.
I went last night. No cases here but it was quite "different" being in a building with other people.
I've been careful. Was going on 2nd week of <stay the fuck home> but had to get something for somebody else.
At the grocer I was told, "warehouse shortage". All "flyer sales" for this week were canceled and no sale promotions for at least 2 more weeks.
They've been told the warehouse situation will be corrected.
Lots of checks in the mail out there.
about 20 people in the store...no masks.
Rubber gloves at checkout...no masks.
Border with Mexico is closed now.

China tells their people that the virus came from the US.
From here...the virus is from China.

Sounds like a history book contradictory detail that may find its way into getting ironed out one way or another. Unless everybody's willing to leave it at that.

Empty ports and restocking warehouses seems to be another contradictory detail not yet resolved. We'll know how that irons out soon I suppose.
