Mohan, No I (if I held CPQ shares) would not want the company to remain static.. but what is the final total prrice tag of this acquisition.. how long will it take for the synergies that have been spoken about to arise.. in my view it would have been more effective for CPQ just to have "Expanded" in a very big way than to buy DEC. Sure DEC has a good name, but so does CPQ.. all CPQ needs are people.. they could get a lot of people in the same amount of time.. Steve Cyrix/NSM Rules!
