Too few have the foundational knowledge to understand what he and his kind really wrought. von Mises and Murray Rothbard were eloquent in making the case that government can not be a successful agent in imposing desirable social change. It instead displaces the mechanisms that really deliver the goods. Problem is, evolution proceeds at what seems a glacial pace. von Mises and Rothbard are scarcely known.
