three or four years ago, the 'who cares' meme (if i can call it that) was often repeated at our legion bar. it was still quite busy back then. someone would make a remark - any remark, and someone else would inevitably respond by saying 'who cares?', followed by another saying 'not my problem' and followed again by another saying 'bummer' garnering chuckles all round. h-man bought me the 'who cares' cap and i told the bar crowd i had worn it to the airport while greeting my west coast fishing club guests. everyone laughed uproariously at my audacity. don't know how it got started exactly, but it was and still is to me, just a funnie thing. no harm, no foul.
