I agree with your assessment. There are so many different data points suggesting, if not screaming we're only at the start of this bearish cycle. As fast as the markets reacted, and are still reacting, it may be difficult to judge where the excessive dislocations have discounted future possibilities

Here is the 2009 bottom. Note that long term bottoms are formed after and extensive period of time when selling is exhausted. The actual bottom can come on relatively low volume compared to the initial hysteria that leads to a bear market.
