Esteban,

I also think the signal on AMLN is a very good one. As for BMC, it is causing me a bit of antsiness. I have decided to stay in BMC using the 1 tick below the signal day low stoploss rule. The % loss there is very low should I find it necessary. I DO hate to miss out on AMLN but I'll get over it.

Good luck in your decision making,
Doug R

AMLN and BMC

Esteban,

Don't know what to say about BMC, except that its signal was weak, which is the reason I wouldn't have pounced even if I could've (my money was tied up with my DANKY short). I'd thought RAIN was the better of the two prospects, but it was insufficiently cooked, and it hasn't lept.
AMLN, however, was too much to put down, and I bought--unfortunately at 3/4; I now wish I'd obeyed my instincts and bought at 9/16 and just cut bait if it fell to its low again. The problem was that I just didn't feel like playing games after a long day of tape-watching DANKY (badly, it turns out--I was too early, but that's a great short now, IMO--Doug has two points left before he sees support, plus you could always get the bottom dropping out and go to Canton on this one).

GO AMLN GO AMLN GO AMLN GO!!!
Feels weird actually rooting FOR an American company again. (My problem with DANKY is they're a bunch a Brits.)

Ivan

PUSSYCAT, PUSSYCAT WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??

Esteban:

JPMX cascades through the skylight. Welcome, good sir.
RMDY, sheez, but regardez le double-gapperrr. Have to give it a twin bed on the second floor. (I lost money on this stock in the mid-40s, and I can all but swear that it is a creation of Satan.)
Not to be ze nozee Froonch chef de cuisine or rien, but: SPLH seems to be simmering pertttfectly: A little brown on the edges from fake signal days, for extra saveur, then some more percolation, to emulsify the sauce, then another good fake signal to get the price down even lower, then ... A prediction: A good month or so and we'll be tearing thru this little stew with a butter knife.
