(OT) My current thinking is that the people who want to

test the "let's romp through the daffodils in Spring" theory MUST offer to be our canaries. That is, Don and Mitch and Steve and Jared etc. along with their "brave" cohorts, including some charmers on these boards, should pitch camp in the outdoors from mid-April (say) to the end of May.

They can play hopscotch and golf and sit around the campfire, at really huggable social distances, singing Roy Rogers' songs in the starlight and what-not. And, of course, once the beagle-eyed gang is outdoors, we can't let them back indoors.

Now if they are all still hopping about cheerfully at the end of May, we may consider it safe to stick our noses out and sniff the pollen and take it from there.

But, short of a "I'm a real man, let me go first, since I'm making up the rules" test, it's unclear to me that reasonably sweet but dim-witted hordes like the rest of us need to take a chance while they sit and snicker. :)

o/t I just read that Wuhan is no more shelter after 2 months, but to get out of the city or to get in you must have a test to certify that you're not sick.
