Trump is probably one of the worst persons on earth to be our president in a crisis of this proportion no doubt. Yet, people want to give him the benefit of the doubt for a while longer. It's the American way. He's absolutely incompetent, and is a man who refuses to learn from his mistakes. He is responsible for the death of two people and the poisoning of at least 3 others related to the use of Chloroquine. The victims said so. He's been fumbling the ball in dealing with the coronavirus almost daily since January. Of note, he failed to trace and test travelers from China(including Americans) who had arrived here weeks before the January ban. He made lotsa noise then but nothing concrete came out of it, he can't focus on anything. He's been finding excuses for NOT TESTING here to "keep the numbers(of infected patients) down" for about two months leading to rampant transmission throughout the country since then, and consequently hundreds of deaths so far. He disbanded the respected Pandemic Response Team that likely would have done something about the testing delays(lotsa of alternatives out there if one just goes thru the trouble of asking). The response team likely would come to the rescue of Italy very early on, so reducing the numbers of cases there and here. He played politics with the bans for European flights too. After all this he rates himself as a "10".
