In and Out Burger's reputation has assumed mythic proportions out here in the east.
This westerner is "jealous" for White Castle.

Stan, I would happily trade you my In-n-Out Double-Doubles for a taste of Wildwood/Cape May, NJ Hoagies or, better yet, a Cheese Steak. We have some cheese steak wannabees here in California, but they're poor substitutes.

Pete

Every fast food outfit in the country is within a couple of miles of me. They have the best burger in town. 2.98. Fil A has the best chicken sand. 4.83.

Denver's getting its first In and Out early next year. Woot!

I miss Beck's Prime from Houston. Gawd, their chicken sandwiches and hamburgers are good. Fresh ground daily from a carcass hanging in the freezer in the back. That's fresh. And their milkshakes made from real dairy cream are divine.

I've only eaten In and Out a couple of times, but my impression of it is that its hugely overrated, and really nothing to write home about.
