In the UK they have relaxed the status for "fish and chip" shops and booze stores ("off licenses") from "non essential" to "essential". I don't know which is more dangerous to the community, guns or booze and fish and chips. Keeping the criminals at bay, when the very fabric of society is being torn apart by reckless monetary policy seems sensible to me.
