I ended up at: I need to call my broker to find out. It seems that there are too many variables at play like brokerage, exchange, ticker, and account type for there to be a straight answer on google. Have that call on my todo list.

I gave it a stab here And the answer is... don't waste your time talking to people who don't know / don't care. Call the guys who specialize in "self directed" as their core business... and those are the guys who advertise looking for clients who want that. They're the only ones who will actually know what you are even talking about. Just limit search terms you use to include "self directed" with the other descriptors and that will narrow the universe to those who have enough of a clue about it to have it hit in a search...
