O/T My understanding is the damage being done is permanent lung damage. Alveoli are exploding in people, and that doesn't happen in typical pneumonia.

Lee, based on the current evidence I've seen, it appears it might be permanent. There are also reports of other organ damange, ie kidney, liver, etc. It all just reinforces the notion you won't want to get it in the first place.
