Hi Ed, Grandich had the most to say about SVB. He threw out some real kickers. First off, Grandich said that the best deal by far in SVB was LAB. He also stated that DML will be $3.00 before the 1st hole is drilled. In his opinion, Donner represents the best chance to swing at a homerun this year. Strathmore (Uranium) and Montello (Alberta Diamonds, see Message 3265105 ) were also mentioned. Bob Bishop also said that Strathmore was worth a nibble. Bob wasn't as excited about SVB, but had alot of positive things to say. Bob's outlook for '98 is to trade these stocks (SVB) quickly for profit, and for the most part, not to invest for the long term (any stocks). Bob also said that he wants to get DML under $1.00, if he can and was interested in getting into some of the others in the region if they soften enough in price. (Apparently Bob no longer owns any of the SVB stocks at this moment) Mentioned Farrallon (of course), and dropped hints about some new VSE listed platinum play coming out in the coming weeks.

Grandich and Bishop both think gold's upper limits is US$320, and probably won't break that level. They see gold at or below the US$300 level. Dines on the other hand thinks gold will continue to rally.

Cheers,

Kent
