Robbie,

While it may be a good deal in the long run, I have SERIOUS doubts about the near term (and the subsequent effect on the stock prices).

First of all, both companies are dead money now until regulatory approval.. nothing will really move either.. that could be a month of more.. I don't think I need to tell you how much money a person can make in a month if the pick the right stock.

The other concern I have is how long it will take to make back the money that will be expended on closures and lay-offs.

The other thing, service is often quiet costly and will alter the $ per employee.. why.. because to offer good service there is ALOT more overhead than just shipping boxes out the door. A lot of remote office, traveling costs, etc. Don't ever expect the digital portion of CPQ to get NEAR $100K per employee..
