The models are showing the final days of Winter polar vortex are ahead for next week.

A polar high builds in its place...so that cold air up there will be disbursed southward for at least the early part of April. Under solar minimum conditions, lots of heavy weather will be disbursed as well.

It's all still a week away but this is the first sign.

They changed the map on their site and it updated in my post...huh. Another one that does that.

The size relationship between Earth, cities and storm systems is beginning to make cities, even with their small size relative to Earth, less able to dance between the raindrops. Tornadoes, "large large hail" and cities don't mix well.
