I am in agreement that the big boys have purchased majority of their shares below $50. Are they happy with $60/share offer; I am not sure. As my average price is well below $40/share for less than 1 year holding, I can say from personal feeling that I am not happy yet with the CPQ offer. Just a matter of pricipal -- I just feel like being cheated by Palmer who may negotiated a deal that benefit himself and not the stock holder. I still believe firmly that DEC without Palmer and with some spin-off, and some time for the INTEL deal to have an effect on the bottom line, will be more than $80 a share company.

By the price/volume action on DEC and CPQ today, would you say that one of your scenario may happen ?
On other reading, They were saying that people are buying on CPQ dip by selling put options. How does this counteract your scenario ? or does it have any effect at all ?

SCHWAB select people told me that the 99 Jan $60 leaps may get converted to some kind of CPQ option or may have a different symbol. I was thinking that with the 30$ cash offer, it may be converted to CPQ leaps at strike price ~$30. What are your guess on this ?
