Please read the financial statement issued by S3. Under the row heading "Provision for income taxes" you will note a (----) number, reflecting a positive adder to S3. This number reflects the effect of a company, experiencing an unprofitable period, being able to get back taxes previously paid or incurred during profitable earlier quarters/ years.
