N95 surgical respirator masks are not the same as N95 particulate masks. Former requires FDA+NIOSH certification, latter only NIOSH. Guidance at hospitals is USE N95 Surgical first, re-use, etc. Then buy N95 FDA/CE certification> then N95 NIOSH.

For everyday walking around. Surgical mask is adequate. main goal is to prevent spray/droplets of virus in the environment.
