The sector drop due to Tidewater CEO comments is correct. CNBC pointed to his "Fears of overcapacity by summer" as the reason. I haven't researched his remarks yet, but that's what I'm hearing.

BTW, is it true oil went up a buck toward the end of trading?

If everyone's being straight, buying in the 19s tomorrow could be a good deal. I got too smart at 2pm when, at 18 7/8, I went for a few hundred more at 18 3/4. Why not? It was dropping like a stone at that point! It turned back right there. No joy.

This has to be a great buying opportunity. If we hit 18, I'm back in.
Oil prices are down because of mild winter in the Northeast and declining demand in Asia. Cyclical changes, not a trend.

As long as the boat supply/demand isn't out of line, this shouldn't have a serious effect on day rates.

Anyway, this looks too good to ignore.
