Republicans use government debt to create the illusion of growth. Yes, we'll see growth and every penny of it is from debt, debt that's not sustainable. Did republicans raise taxes after the economy was healed? Hell no, they cut taxes again and exploded the debt. So, $1.9 trillion from one tax bill and $2.3 trillion from the bailout so $4.2 trillion from just two pieces of legislation (the numbers will rise). Then think of all the lost revenue from layoffs. We'll be lucky if we can stay under $3 trillion for the deficit. As far as deaths are concerned, the Civil War had over 600k. You're blowing smoke.
