Too many real estate parts for me to comprehend:The Commercial and Residential Lending segment originates, acquires, finances, and manages commercial and residential first mortgages, subordinated mortgages, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), residential mortgage-backed securities, and other real estate and real estate-related debt investments. The Infrastructure lending segment originates, acquires, finances, and manages infrastructure debt investments. The Property segment acquires and manages equity interests in commercial real estate properties, including multi-family properties. Positives are Sternlicht, who added to his position at $9.21 reported on Mar 18, and another director two days earlier at about $18.60. Stock's at $11.23 with tangible bv over $14. Sternlicht reported couple days ago that div in Apr will be paid as expected. That makes annualized div yield about 17% --- Given that number, a lot of people must believe the yield is unsustainable, or the company is not in as ok position as Sternlicht says/believes. I might go for a few shares (a big maybe) if I can get them below Sternlicht's $9, and there's no adverse news out. ==== 15 min corornavirus test requires blood sample afaik, and won't be available in quantity for a while - to be determined. I will guess not soon enough to save cruise lines. So much risk in taking a cruise -- fellow passenger, ship quarantine, poor customer support from cruise lines (imo) -- poor image now -- the two "ships of death", countries' willingness or not to allow disembarking, possible issues with transport to/from ship (airline ). My opinion is that cruise line stocks are a short: They will retest lows, if not go into chap 11. Of course jmo. (And of course I've been wrong many, many times, especially as regards shorting.) Nevertheless, fwiw I am shorting CCL today. Although I am reminded of Dr. Graham who said leave shorting to professionals (And I am not one of them.)
