Mohan......A friend of mine called me a few minutes ago and said there were going to be corporate execs. from CPQ and DEC discussing the acquisition on CNN's MoneyLine, with Lou Dobbs......I believe he said the time was 7:00PM EST....in about 20 minutes......Could be interesting............George

Mohan, I'm not trying to depress anyone.. just trying to make everyone see that this is a MAJOR undertaking and is something that should be investigated by the shareholders... this could easily turn into the best or worst move of CPQ's life.. And yes I know sometimes you have to gamble to win, but I just don't like the choice personally.. I am going to have to say the additional cost will be between 3 and 5 b$.. BUT i'm not an expert, and I'm not talking about that expense all at once.. (i.e. over maybe 2 years).. but there are a lot of concerns to be addressed by EP and company. Steve Cyrix/NSM Rule!
