Tiananmen Square is something that world governments can ignore in pursuit of cheap Chinese labor. They can't easily ignore the coronavirus thing Unfortunately memories are short and greedy capitalists will forsake what they know is best to save a few pennies. Their bonuses will depend on that cheap labor. It doesn't matter that such a shithole country controls so much of the world's supply chain. I had no idea until recently they make most of our meds and they've cornered the market for Rare Earth's as well. I hate to say this but the only way to change this will involve government intervention in the form of tariffs and dis-incentives. I'll bet it never happens. Trump would be the right type of person to do this.
