My heart goes out to your loss. Most vets are just in it for the $$$. My dog is part of my family and in my heart. When she hurts, I hurt. And she depends on me for everything. I am suppose to save her, help her and rescue her at all times. When I get up to go to the bathroom at night, my dog and wife lift their heads up and I have to kiss them before they go back to sleep.

I know people who have suffered for years and years over the loss of their dogs.
