Gillmor: Hatch doesn't buy Microsoft's world view mercurycenter.com

But he just doesn't know the TRUTH, right?

Looking into Microsoft has been an eye-opener, he said, in part because of potential witnesses' reluctance to come forward due to fear of retaliation.

''There's a lot of terror out there,'' he said. ''They'll tell us things in private, but they don't want their names to surface. They don't want to be hurt.''

He paused. ''Microsoft plays a pretty rough game.''

And that's why we love them so. Certainly, that's why the "computer users" CNN polled love them. The CIOs Merril Lynch polled, they don't understand how the game is played. And Orin Hatch, of course, couldn't possibly have any idea about the rules of the game. He's just a leftist commie draft dodger.

Cheers, Dan.

"That's the TRUTH, right?"

Truth is a troubling thing Dan.

It's perception that counts. To be successful in this business you must never forget the three most important keys to success. They are: Marketing, Marketing and Marketing.
