What's needed now, imo, is for comprehensive testing to be done in at least four different parts of the county.
Kate, do I need to remind you about your numerous posts "Why do we need testing? It's a waste of money".

When did you flip?
Are you going to apologize for you stupid posts?

= 7.62 X in 9 Days

Triff put up total deaths. I added another column with new deaths. Today's (Tues) numbers are 3889 total, 748 new. Wed. already has 44 new cases from Calif, + 1 death, and it's still Tuesday here.

The Washington model the WH was using today was predicting something like 2200 deaths/day by April 15, if we all shelter in place today..

You printed a string of numbers

Hi Kate ..

The "string of numbers" are the ACTUAL daily reported USA deaths for nine consecutive days ..
I calculated the compound daily growth rate for that data set as 1.29%
and applied that growth rate to the next 9 days to get the estimated
number of future deaths/fatalities ~ 24000 ..

Triff ..

Washington State (and to a lesser extent California) was touted repeatedly by the scientist standing on either side of the podium yesterday as positive ways to manage COVID-19. Kind of ironic - guess the Snake is doing good! You have your Washington State and you have Florida. Where would you like to live the next couple of weeks? Missouri is just as bad but I see Idaho has gotten religion.

Immunity may give some protection - some disease immunities are hard fast like measles some are short lived and not nearly as valuable. Anyone thinking they have this disease figured out has a very poor understanding of disease progression and are whistling in the dark.
