Wharfie, I love how the left continues to post about Schumer calling on the feds to declare a public health emergency back in January 26, as if Schumer saw what was coming before Trump ever did.

In reality, Trump (through Alex Azar of HHS) did exactly that on January 31:

Secretary Azar Declares Public Health Emergency for United States for 2019 Novel Coronavirus

Oh and by the way, the declaration was retroactively applied back to January 27, in case that means anything to anyone.

But please, keep pushing the myth that Trump was "six weeks late" in realizing how bad this pandemic could get. Don't let the facts get in the way of a narrative that the media will no doubt be pushing throughout this quarantine period, which is great for them since half of all Americans will be stuck looking at social media all day.
