Chat Hiram [Harris in Palm Bay] To all, for what its worth,I was talking to my next door neighbor,and lo and behold he is a head engineer at Harris in Palm Bay. It seems he is working on the analog to digital chip for ADSL Lite. He told me that will be the defacto standard in the near future. There are no problems with noise ingress,or need for splitters in the line. Its splitterless,and easy to install. The only problem now is the inside house wiring in his opinion. DMT ADSL lite is his answer to the xDSL problems,and he should know. Hiram Hiram, You made it sound like Harris is making the A/D chip for the whole industry! Harris Semi makes the Analog Front End for PairGains Falcon, though they may eventually get other customers too! biz.yahoo.com And don't for get Harris Semi is making the VDSL chips for Orckit..
