Derek,

For what it is worth to you, we have made a pot ful of money in CTXS last year and beginning to make money again this year on Roger's advise! Seems that longs seem to think if one goes short on a stock he or she has to ride it to ZERO or until the company goes broke! When shorting there is a thing called covering and one can do that at any point he or she wishes to do so! What a ride CTXS can give a short or a long as far as that goes to make money! Now just settle down and remember when one post, that is he or she's personal opinion and that's all! Don't believe Roger would stand up in court and say that, but I do see where he is coming from on some of their accounting reporting!

>>>Roger, grow up, using words like lies shows your emotional immaturity when it comes to objectively analyzing a business<<<

I shouldn't respond to this. It is ridiculous on it's face. Roger is one of the most level headed fellows I've met on Silicon Investor. It would do you good to re-evaluate your emotional attachment to whichever stock you are talking about. I do hope you understand there are always two sides to every transaction.

Derek, at my age it is a complement to be called immature, so thanks. Do you wish to counter my arguments that a single server cannot serve hundreds of users or that it is necessary to obtain a software license for each software package for each Winframe user? Or do you agree with my points and would rather me call them "misunderstandings" rather than lies?

I don't disagree that Winframe has some useful applications, but its days are numbered now. I am sure that CTXS will make some Picasso sales, but Picasso will not be necessary for many Terminal-server NT installations. And I expect that the vast majority of clients will be Win95 or Win CE running T-share, not Unix or other non-windows ICA clients.

I am a contrarian investor, shorting the high fliers and buying the un-loved. I guess that is peeing into the wind and I have been doing it with some success for 31 years. It is now two years since my first CTXS investment, which by the way was from the long side before the first split.

You are more than welcome to post on this thread and counter my short side arguments on CTXS.

Roger

Derek, pissing in the wind is not a sign of immaturity but carelessness. Urinating without removing one's trousers, now that's immaturity especially if one does not have his diapers on!
