Tyson and Cargill are being investigated for being dicks... reuters.com The supply chain (packers, other middlemen, and larger buys), has all the power in the US and can and will screw the farmers and the ranchers every chance they get. Farmers and ranchers need to figure out different ways to sell their products if they don't want to get paid based on the "mercy" of all of the vultures in between them and the end consumers.
