Will Rogers:"I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat.

Yes, the right wing marches in goose step. We have been witnessing it for years now with the pubs in congress and still today about 90% of Republicans support Trump.

And yes, the right wing are conformists, true believers. In general their political ideas are based on bad information they get from their right wing culture and right wing media like FOX. They are walking entities of misinformation.

They are about as clueless as a human being could be living in a modern country.

And Conservatives have NO idea what we liberals are about. We are a complete mystery to them. To them looking at a progressive is like looking into a black hole.

Their mental image of liberals is a caricature they have Gestalted from the collective right wing culture.

And as you know, trying to reason with the right wing is impossible as their reality is grounded in ignorance and misinformation and is usually illogical so there is no foundation to debate with them.

I seldom enter a serious conversation with them.

I do give in once in a while to responding to one of their more outrageous claims like god sending Trump here to save us all-lol.

I am sure you have heard of the old will Rogers comment about Democrats:

Will Rogers:"I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat.

It's very odd talking to republicans here on SI. They want me to defend something you wrote as if we both have to agree on anything and everything. In their world, you have to be one with the party and that's all they understand. It's sad. They lost their individuality.
