Ethereum was helpful for me retiring in Malaysia, bought @ avg 9. sold most above 350, was early and missed the top ~1400 but wanted "stuff" land and gold, got em and used the remaining proceeds for my parachute- happy landing... still hold some ETH and a few K's of 1 other, it'll do, watch daily but it'll be a while 1-3yrs before next hype cycle- ETH has a fledging defi- where loands and interest payment interests exist as well as leverage but i dont go there as i've done enuff- PS started off with bitcoin but moved it all in ethereum in december 2016..
