Chloroquine in the proper dosage as prescribed by a Dr. as early as possible during infection is by far the best bet. If I get sick, you can bet I will be dropping my homemade quinine preventative dose and hounding a teledoc for a prescription as quickly as possible. That being said I am sure that those quinine sulfate tablets have just as much chance at being an effective preventative as my home brewed and it takes out the guesswork on mgs. Chloroquine versus quinine against malaria
