Doc: Reference to ZITL - I trust your instincts. Do the board a favor and let us know when you are ready to bail.

P.S. - I remember when you got out of ZITL in the low 60's the day before the meltdown in late December 1996................I hope for TPRO's sake that history does not repeat itself

Doc,

You know I adore you .... BUT ... I'd like clarification here:

<Zebra, one phrase from this news rleease bothers me: "Our personnel ranks also continue to remain under control with slightly more than 400 employees worldwide at the end of the current year, down from levels of one year ago." >

What release? When? You're obviously NOT talking about TPRO. (I don't have time to go back and figure our what release you're talking about.) Sorry ... just been too busy.

<certain expectations is starting to remind me of Zitel all over again.>

Why? What expections? Please be specific. Especially now ... with this board filled with angst ... of which I have NONE. Some impatience ... with the stock price and certain posters ... but no angst.

I prefer to stick with my "friend" who's involved with the overall picture ... rather than all this short-term mind-set. I make my decisions based on my own research. But, it sure feels good when it's validated from someone I respect.

I've watched the ZITL machinations since the fall of '95. I don't see the correlation. Please clarify.

Thanks,

Cheryl

Dear M. Frank Greiffenstein,
I spent some time reviewing Wonderware's 10K
To summerize: They are a software firm who sells it's products thru
135 technically skilled distributers speciallizing in sales of in-
dustrialized automation products. Wonderware had 443 persons working
for them; 212 in sales, 144 software development and engineering,
rest in operations and office.
Jan Mccabe (posts 6084 & 6201) stated that Wonderware was in
the process of certifying 1000 systems intgrators that are vendors of their 2000factory suites. Incidentally being first shipped in
Jan. of this year.
I would suggest to all to reread the 11/14/97 conferance call
and see why everyone was so enthused after said call; particulary
Doug Kelsall's evaluation of the numbers.
I would like to reiterate, why would a shareholders meeting
be held in the middle of a fiscal year rather than at the end. We
could have voted for a name change without a meeting. I can't be-
lieve that Tava would shoot it's self in the foot and not announce
good news.
Sorry to be so long winded. I happen to believe the story.
Mark

Dear Doc: GIVE ME A BREAK. Surely you dont expect Wonderware to talk up TAVA in THEIR press release? Its enough that they mention the Y2K aspect in their factory suites. JDN
