To an extent the increasing in testing rate and labeling some flu deaths as covid19 deaths is skewing the statistics way to the high side. That makes good press and increases the panic.

EXACTLY !!!!!

What the Statistics need is to know WHO DIED OF COVID-19 SPECIFICALLY !!!!

There's no point in reporting a case where someone is SEVERELY ILL FROM SOMETHING THAT IS NON-COVID-19 and they would have died if they had caught a bad case of the flu or pneumonia.

But they now catch COVID-19 and that was enough to bring their demise. Had they been in a healthy condition and they caught COVID-19 THEN THEY MAY NOT HAVE DIED FROM IT .... THAT IS THE STATISTICAL DIFFERENCE !!
