Steve, your analysis of the trading is based on the assumption that at THIS point in time somebody is willing to pay 13 or 14. I don't think that is true YET. The way the stock is trading would indicate that the "initial expression of interest" was around 10. However, it is quite possible that if the investment banking firm does it job properly that other parties will become interested, thus resulting in a higher offer down the road. y

There are several reasons why the stock is where it is and we might end up getting $13. First, this stock is not followed by many people. It's small and has no analysts. Nobody really understands the true value of this stock. Second, there's uncertainty. There might not be a deal at any price. Management might not take a low ball and another party might not materialize. Third, small stocks are in a bear market. The price is depressed (market value).

Remember GMIS ????? It was trading around $11 when it started moving up on rumors and finally was taken out at $24 ($15 close before the announcement). HBOC took them out. And GMIS was the same size as CITA!!!
