I went fishing yesterday afternoon. Filled up the truck nearby for 1.65. Next little berg I passed 1.59. Then out in the sticks -- 1.29. Next 1.45. Saw a number of small restaurants and business with real estate signs in front. Public policy -- very stupid public policy has killed small businesses. In the don't let a good crisis go to waste department -- our governments have colluded to smash small businesses. This is something we will not be getting over shortly. At the same time the government has gone out of its way to quickly increase dependence. The social ramifications are quite dire. How can I be bullish? Honestly, I think we may do a hyper-inflationary moonshot. The odds of that are increasing daily, imo.
