AFA the USA goes....The death/being very sick part of it, does not worry me as much as the workforce/trade disruption....I think those numbers (deaths/extreme illness) will be lower than people expect, add them to normal flu season = Very bad flu season. My girlfriend works in a hospital here in Walton County Florida, Lead Tech / for the most part in heart surgery and organ harvest surgery, she also teaches/trains younger techs....From what she tells me.....Five of the counties in my area of NW Florida got together and decided where (what hospitals/facilities) the CV-19 patients, depending on their severity/age would be sent to....The local military bases also are taking part in this plan....So some hospitals may only (for the most part) be diagnosing patients/they may not be as involved in the treatment side....??? My sister lives up in Penn, in Athens/Sayre area....she works in a hospital just over the border, in NY State....She was in elective surgery side of things....Got laid off....Six days later they called her back....Gave her a two day course on CV-19 testing....That's what she is currently doing.....I talked with her back on the 29th March....She told me that they were only testing patients over 40 years old, who showed signs/symptoms of possibly having CV-19....Things were going very slow which is good...As of today there have been 53 positive test total in the four counties surrounding her hospital.... I live in Santa Rosa County Florida (although I live on federal property/barrier island), here is our stats: CASE DATA FOR SANTA ROSA Total Cases: 55 Residents: 55 Residents Not in Florida: 0 Non-Residents: 0 Demographics of Cases Age Range: 0 to 84 Men: 33 Women: 22 Conditions and Care Deaths: 2 Hospitalizations: 8 We have one hospital in Gulf Breeze handling almost all of the CV-19 case load....so far anyway.... The scariest part of all this IMO is the many forms that this virus appears to be able to take/morph into, (some what like the many strains of pneumonia)....Also seeing how it is attacking some of the young and very healthy peoples immune systems, causing their immune systems to attack their organs and quickly kill them.... FEAR of the UNKNOWN is what it is all about....Hopefully the worlds populations are starting to ramp-up antibodies against this disease!!! dmv
