My dear Shalom who is truly a brother to me, I can only say that you do firmly and completely believe as you state. Personally I think any more mild or even serious disputing on my part on the subject of the catching up is silly, and I have said all on it I plan to say for this lifetime. BUT!!!!! Now, I must warn you, at any point in time from this moment on I expect to be getting out of here on the first bus. And if I AM on it, and others who do not expect it to come might not be, please no one shout skyward, "But Lord! She admits she was backsliding in Arizona!!" I do say this with great seriousness, and also because the idea just strikes me as amusing. Actually there is not a lot we can do about it one way or the other. :) Kind of wish I still could find the "Beam me up, Jesus" bumper sticker.

Hi Shalom, I read the verse you posted. I already had Jer. 3:11-14 marked and the whole chapter is very revealing especially from 11 on. It fortells salvation through Jesus, the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the future earthly kingdom of Jesus. <<satan comes...( Disguised as Jesus)... at the 6th trump, 6th seal, and 6th vile...666>> I am puzzled by your thought on 666, the mark of the beast. It doesn't make sense to me. Probably because we have different views on what the mark of the beast means and also the timing of the "catching up" which I see as a seperate event from the Day of The Lord. Rev. 14:14-16 would be the catching up of the elect after the mark of the beast is given to the whole world except the elect who refuse it Rev. 13:11-18. They are taken up so that the wrath of God can be poured out on those who are left who have now completely rejected God. But we are spared that because "we are not appointed to wrath". Then Rev. 14: 17-20 "the wine press of the wrath of God", Chap. 15 scenes in heaven, Chapter 16 the 6 bowls of wrath, then Chapter 17-18 then Rev. 19:11-21 the return of our Lord (The day of The Lord). After that His Kingdom is established and the millenium on earth begins. His laws are written on our hearts and we will reign with Him in that physical kindom on earth. If I am wrong then I will be on Jane's bus and glad of it. But I see that as highly unikely. Instead I see the devil working furiously to be sure that a majority of the Church are not prepared for those times through the widely believed teaching of pre-trib rapture. Holy Spirit teach us, Bob
