The drug was invented and introduced to the market by Bayer AG in 1934. Since their patents are long expired, as a generic drug it has been available from Bayer and others at very low cost. Interesting, however, after so many years Bayer suddenly pulled their version, the Resorchin 200mg from the market September 2019 ... (Why sell at low prices if you expect demand to sky-rocket?).
